Kaitlin Bauld
Director & Head Choreographer
Kaitlin Bauld began her dance training at the age of 3, mainly focusing on classical ballet at several studios including Contra Costa Ballet Academy. While attending Western Oregon University she pursued her love of dance and choreography, and discovered her passion for modern dance. She studied under professors such as Deborah Jones and Sharon Oberst, while being a company dancer for Rainbow Dance Theater lead by Darryl Thomas and Valerie Bergman. Kaitlin attended the American College Dance Festival for three years as a dancer, and was invited to showcase her own piece to compete as well. Kaitlin graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Dance and Theater and immediately moved to Los Angeles. In just a few short years she began her professional career as a dancer and choreographer in the entertainment industry. While exploring filmmaking, Kaitlin dreamed of combining the worlds of dance and film, which motivated her to create and found Omnia Dance Company.
Taylor Swantek
Guest Dancer & Producer
A native of Los Angeles, Taylor began her ballet training at Pasadena Dance Theatre with Cynthia Young and Laurence Blake, followed by The Colburn School under the direction of Glenn Edgerton and Leslie Carothers. In high school, Taylor moved to Chicago to become a trainee at The Joffrey Ballet where she had the opportunity to perform with the company and further strengthen her technique and versatility as a dancer in jazz, contemporary, and modern dance in addition to classical ballet. Following her time at the Joffrey, Taylor decided to start freelancing, and after quickly reaffirming that her passion for dancing was not limited to classical ballet, relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a more varied career and has since appeared on television and in music videos with major artists such as Taylor Swift, Kygo, and Maroon 5 as well as dancing and acting in live productions and short films. Taylor has always been enthusiastic about utilizing film as a medium to further the medium of dance, and is thrilled to be creating unique and accessible dance films with the talented artists of Omnia.
Chenise Crockett
Guest Dancer
Chenise Crockett grew up on the Oregon coast where she began her dance training at age 5. At 16 she attended the Arts and Communication Magnet Academy where she received intensive professional training. With a dance scholarship at Western Oregon University, she was selected to perform guest artist pieces at the American College Dance Festival for four consecutive years. She danced as an apprentice for the Rainbow Dance Theater for two years and graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Dance. After graduation she moved to Portland where she explored various styles with local studios and companies, as well as co-creating several dance films. Now having recently relocated to Los Angeles, she is thrilled to collaborate with Kaitlin again, as well as the other talented artists in the company.
Heather Ong
Resident Hip Hop Choreographer & Company Dancer
Heather grew up in Montreal where she began her training as a cheerleader with North Shore Cheerleading. Throughout her 8 years as a cheerleader her coaches pushed her to study dance, and at age 14 she took her first hip hop class. She trained at multiple dance studios until she found 8 Count Dance Complex. She later began truly following her love of dance under Steve Bolton. Versatility being her biggest goal, she traveled between New York and Los Angeles studying Hip Hop, Jazz, House, Popping, Locking, Tap, and Waacking. In 2007 after she graduated from Concordia University with a B.A. in Psychology, Heather made the move to Los Angeles to pursue dancing full time. Concentrating solely on Hip Hop she spent all of her free time at Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Edge PAC and Millennium Dance Complex. She performed at Tissandra Chavez's Traffic 2010 as well as the first annual TIV awards.
Heidi Ramee
Guest Dancer
Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Heidi began taking ballet lessons at age 5. She later explored tap and Jazz at age 13, when she became involved in musical theater. While attending Chapman University, Heidi majored in theater and studied hip hop and jazz funk; she fell in love with incorporating various styles of movement into her dance. Heidi continues to pursue a professional acting career while dancing in the company.
Kristin Hector
Company Dancer
Kristin is a native of Philadelphia, and started dancing at the late age of 13 after wanting to emulate the great dancers she saw on stage and screen. This quickly became the only thing that she could envision for her future career path. She went on to study dance at West Chester University and received her B.A. There she continued her training in styles ranging from ballet to ballroom but found her niche in jazz; she also danced for the Philadelphia Fight Rugby League for two seasons. After graduating she moved to Los Angeles and has been performing in both live and filmed productions.
